An initiative by the TCI Foundation for Voluntary counselling and testing of HIV
TCI Foundation has partnered with International Labour Organisation (ILO) to conduct HIV “Voluntary Counselling & Testing (VCT)” and “HIV Self Screening (HIVSS)” campaigns to prevent and control HIV infection amongst truckers, migrants, and allied populations as well as to enable them to know their HIV status. The project entails collecting real-time data for testing and counselling through the mobile application. TCI Foundation intends to develop a highly secured mobile application with a web dashboard for its use by the project implementing staff and its reporting system by the management and grantor.
Duple’s team was approached to contribute their efforts in the making of KHUSHI, a mobile application desired by TCI Foundation. The scope of this project was vast and the expectations were even higher. Completion of the tasks within the estimated period was a major priority. Securing data of thousands of entries and ensuring the working of applications offline at any place within the country was a huge challenge yet a learning process for us.
A comprehensive and responsive VCT & HIVSS Management solution that goes beyond being simply feature-laden to one that the staff and management at TCI Foundation can buy into and that they can relate to in their day-to-day activities. TCIFoundation is also looking forward to receiving a series of dashboards and reports that provide us with a clear overview of life at all times.

The application is running smoothly and has thousands of users with identity authentication already registered within a short period. Reports and detailed summaries of each activity are successfully unfolded within the application. The solution provided by Duple is useful in monitoring the HIV health status of several transport drivers across various regions within the country.
